Our LV/MV project and application service covers everything from the initial needs analysis through to the connection, subscription, and acceptance processes carried out with the utility. Bringing a new facility online, increasing capacity on an existing account, or commissioning an MV substation all require precise engineering calculations as well as a process managed in close coordination with the utility.
Scope
- Electrical load analysis and power demand assessment for existing or planned facilities
- Preparation of single-line diagrams, power factor correction, and grounding designs
- Preparation of project documentation, paperwork, and justification reports for LV connection and system-usage agreements, and for power capacity increase requests
- Preparation of MV substation (switchgear, transformer, protection & control) design and calculations, including short-circuit, coordination, and selectivity studies
- Application and follow-up with the utility and relevant official authorities through approval and acceptance
- On-site technical representation and coordination through meter connection, provisional acceptance, and energization
Our goal is to ensure the right engineering decisions are made at the very start of the investment, preventing costly revisions later on, while keeping delays and additional revision requests from the utility's application and acceptance processes to an absolute minimum.
