Silivri State Hospital DC Charging Station

Silivri, Istanbul

The 1x180kW DC charging station infrastructure at the Silivri State Hospital campus was completed end-to-end by Soctek, including the utility power-allowance process.

Project Scope and Requirements

Bringing a relatively high-power DC charging load of 180kW online often requires obtaining an additional power allowance from the utility -- a process that can delay a project if not managed with the right paperwork and technical calculations. At Silivri State Hospital, the goal was to manage this project end-to-end, including the power-allowance process, under a single point of responsibility.

Technical Solution Implemented

The project began with Soctek managing the required power-allowance process with the utility. Once secured, the 180kW DC charging station infrastructure was engineered to match the hospital campus's electrical system and installed, with the entire process -- from permitting to field installation -- coordinated by a single team.

Results and Benefits

Managing the power-allowance process end-to-end allowed the project at Silivri State Hospital to be completed without delay. The hospital campus now has a reliable EV charging infrastructure for electric vehicle users.
