Project Scope and Requirements
EV charging stations at shopping malls let visitors charge their vehicles while they shop, adding value to both the customer experience and the mall's appeal. Across locations as varied as Mall Of Istanbul, Kale Outlet, Perlavista, and Historia, the goal was to deliver DC fast-charging infrastructure using a consistent installation approach suited to each building's own electrical capacity.
Technical Solution Implemented
At each mall location, the existing electrical infrastructure's capacity was assessed first, and DC fast-charging units ranging from 120kW to 240kW were engineered accordingly. Installation, including cable routing and panel placement in the parking areas, was carried out to match each location's own site conditions.
Results and Benefits
Through this multi-site project, these shopping malls across Istanbul can now offer electric vehicle users a fast, reliable charging experience. Infrastructure built with a consistent engineering approach across varying capacities has made it easier for these malls to adapt to the e-mobility transition.
