Istanbul PMR Training and Research Hospital DC Charging Station

Istanbul

A 1x180kW DC charging station infrastructure was installed at the Istanbul Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital, meeting the EV charging needs of hospital staff and visitors.

Project Scope and Requirements

Physical medicine and rehabilitation hospitals see patients and their companions spend comparatively long periods on the hospital campus due to the nature of treatment, which increases the value of EV charging in the parking area. The goal of this project was to integrate a 180kW DC charging infrastructure into the hospital's electrical system, sized for daily use by both hospital staff and visitors.

Technical Solution Implemented

The 180kW DC charging station was engineered to match the hospital's existing electrical infrastructure and installed accordingly. The installation was positioned to be accessible to both staff and visitor vehicles, engineered to withstand heavy daily use.

Results and Benefits

With the charging infrastructure now in place, hospital staff and visitors can safely charge their vehicles during treatment or working hours. This project shows that EV charging infrastructure at healthcare facilities is not just a technical investment, but a service that improves the user experience.
