Durusu Park Villas Rooftop Solar PV

Durusu, Istanbul

At Durusu Park Villas, a 10kWe/12kWp on-grid rooftop solar PV system was designed and commissioned by the Soctek engineering team to meet residents' growing energy needs.

Project Scope and Requirements

In villa-style developments, limited roof area makes it essential to size a solar PV system correctly. The goal for this project was to reduce homeowners' grid consumption and lower electricity costs, while fitting the installation to the existing roof structure. Choosing an on-grid system allows surplus generation to be fed back to the utility grid without requiring a battery investment.

Technical Solution Implemented

The system was designed with a 10kWe inverter capacity against a 12kWp panel output; this ratio optimizes the panel-to-inverter match to maximize generation efficiency. It was engineered to comply with the utility's on-grid PV connection requirements and commissioned turnkey with the necessary protection and metering infrastructure.

Results and Benefits

With the system now in operation, residents can consume the energy they generate during the day directly, feeding any surplus back to the grid to lower their energy costs. The project is a concrete example of the value a correctly sized rooftop solar PV investment can deliver at a residential scale.
